Chapter 1 : Nadeshiko and Syaoron

“Wake up!” said Sumire, Nadeshiko’s older sister. “I want sleep! 5 minutes more!” said Nadeshiko, pulling her green blanket, and covering her face. “It’s already 7.45!” Nadeshiko pull her blanket out, then ran off to the bathroom. “I will be late…!!!!!” Nadeshiko change her pajamas into Eitoukou Middle School uniform, then comb her light brown hair.
“Good morning, Father! Good morning, Akira-san!” said Nadeshiko came out from her room. “Late morning, Nadeshiko.” Said Akira brew the tea. “Sorry, but I so tired today.” Nadeshiko pulling the chair, then biting a sandwich. She drank the tea, then put her rollerblades and ready to go. “I’m going…!”
Nadeshiko slide her blades very fast today. “I’m going to late!”
Nadeshiko saw the school gate has closed. “You underestimate me!” Nadeshiko put off her blades, then leaped the school gate. The security guard surprised. “Don’t underestimate me!” said Nadeshiko stick its tongue. Nadeshiko ran off to her class very fast.
“Morning!” shouted Nadeshiko.
“Good! You save, after all. The teacher hasn’t come. It says there is a new student!” said Kahoko. Kahoko Fujiwara, one of Nadeshiko’s friends. She has a excellent score in music.
“Well, I saved. Thank goodness.”
Nadeshiko sit in her chair, well… There is an empty seat next to her.
“Back to your seats, students!” said Miura-sensei, Nadeshiko’s homeroom teacher and mathematics teacher. “Today there is a new student. Come in.”
A boy with dark brown hair and brown eyes stepped into class 1-B.
“My name is Syaoron Li.” Said the boy, who called Syaoron Li. I think he is Chinese. “I transferred from Hong Kong.”
“Cuteeeeeee boy…..!!!!!!” shouted all girls, except Nadeshiko. “Li-san, you can sit in that chair, next to Miyazaki-san.”
“What a pity, Miyazaki has a great luck!” sighed another girls seeing Syaoron walked to his chair. “Nice to meet you, Syaoron Li.”
“Yeah.”
Nadeshiko sense something weird with Syaoron. “Looks he isn’t too friendly.” Think Nadeshiko open her mathematics book.
“Students, open the book page 55.” Said Miura-sensei. “Please solve the question in that page.”
Mathematics is the worst subject for Nadeshiko. She often got bad score in that subject. “Bloody hell! This question is confusing!”
“Do you need help?” ask Syaoron. Nadeshiko’s face turning red. “Thanks…”
“So your problem is… You should subsract this first.” Said Syaoron. “Hoh….”
After Syaoron tutored Nadeshiko, “Now… Hmm… Miyazaki, solve the question no.1!”
Nadeshiko walked to the board and solve the question with the answer she helped with Syaoron. “Thanks, Li-kun.” Said Nadeshiko inside her heart.

“Thanks for your tutor, Li-kun!” said Nadeshiko. “Oh, yes.” Syaoron is busy reading a book.
“Philosophy book? How smart you are!”
“Well, reading book is my hobby. I love philosophy books and history books.”
“Wow. I like to buy cooking books or novel. I buy comic too.”
“I have some comic, like Weekly Shonen Magazine.”
“Oh, I have something to tell you!”
“What is that?”
“My father has many books in home. I can borrow you some. Do you want?”
“It’s okay?”
“Yeah!”
“Thank you, can I borrow one book?”
“Sure.”
Nadeshiko know that Syaoron is not cold and not too friendly as she thought. He is friendly. His face is ‘cute’.

Nadeshiko put her blades, and then slide very fast. She saw Syaoron hold some money and looks sighing.
“Li-kun?”
“Hoe-e!” said Syaoron startled.
“Hoe-e?”
“Miyazaki-san! You startled me!”
“ Sorry! What are you doing here?”
“No… I just want to go to Tomoeda, but my money isn’t enough to go by bus, and I don’t know the directions to Tomoeda. I want to visit my twin brother.”
“I can help you! Let’s go by bus together. I lend you some money.” Said Nadeshiko give some money.
“No, no. I can’t receive it.”
“You can.”
“O,okay…”

They arrived in an apartment. “This is my twin brother apartment, he said.”
“So… where are you going to live?”
“I live in a boarding house.”
“You are an independent boy!”
“Well, I taught to be like that.” Said Syaoron, while he and Nadeshiko walked to room number 305.
“This is!” said Syaoron. “Syaoran?” Syaoron knocked the door, and Nadeshiko saw a boy which is face very similar to Syaoron. “Miyazaki, please come in.”
Nadeshiko saw a girl too, she is drinking a cup of tea. “Who is that, Syaoran-kun?”
“That is my twin brother, Syaoron Li. This is his friend, Nadeshiko Miyazaki.” Said Syaoran. “Nice to meet you, Li-kun, Miyazaki-san. Can I call you Nadeshiko-chan?”
“Sure.” Said Nadeshiko.
They eat cake and drinking tea. They have a great conversation, after all.

“I take you to the bus stop.” Said Syaoron.
Nadeshiko’s face turning red.
“Well, I can walk alone.” Said Nadeshiko.
“It’s getting rain, and girls musn’t go alone in night.” Syaoron shading Nadeshiko with an green umbrella. “Thank you, Li-kun.” Said Nadeshiko. Her heart has racing, and she think she can’t breathe anymore.
CTAAAARRR! The rain has started. Nadeshiko walked with Syaoron to bus stop. CTAAAARRR! The thunder crashed a tree behind Nadeshiko. “Look out!!!” Syaoron throwing himself to Nadeshiko, in order to protect her. “Are you okay, Nadeshiko?”
Nadeshiko’s heart is racing again, and her face has turning red again. But, a tree falling down again, now the tree falling against Syaoron. “Syaoron-kun!!!!!!”
Syaoron take his sword, Hi’en (which meaning Scarlett Flame), and spelled a spell. “God of Fire, answer my call!” The fire waving from Hi’en, burns the tree, and the tree rolling down to another direction. “Someone has controlled the thunder! It’s too dangerous! Stay away behind me!”
Nadeshiko trying to help Syaoron, and she want a power so she can help Syaoron. A light come to Nadeshiko. The light transformed into a wand. “A wand?” Without thinking, she unsheathe her wand and spelled, “Goddess of Wind, answer my call!”
A wind flashing, and stop the thunder. “It’s flattening.” Said Nadeshiko. Her hand has injured. “Are you okay? Your hand!”
“Ouch.” Said Nadeshiko touching her injured hand.
“Oh, I know.” Syaoron take his handkerchief, and wiped the blood in Nadeshiko’s hand. “It’s okay now.”
“Th,thanks…” said Nadeshiko. “Thanks for help me, Syaoron-kun.”
“You can call me Syaoron… So I can call you…”
“N-a-d-e-s-h-i-k-o.” said Nadeshiko.
“Yes….” Syaoron’s face turning red.
GUK GUK! Nadeshiko heared a dog barking. She saw a cute dog. A dazzling light appeared from that dog.
“What is that?” said Syaoron.
The dog transformed into a boy. “My name is Kamui.”
“But… That, that…”
“Yes, I can transform into a dog.”
“Hoe-e?!!” cried out Nadeshiko and Syaoron.

Nadeshiko found that she is the Chosen One! Finally, she knew the reason why her mother, Shulin Miyazaki, died because she is the Chosen One! Well, Syaoron’s prediction is right about Physics improptu test! And… A fire want to burns Miyazaki’s residence! Can Nadeshiko protect her home? Syaoron who just strucked down, made Nadeshiko ill.
